Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup vegan margarine
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, cream together the vegan margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the vanilla extract and almond milk to the margarine and sugar mixture and beat until combined.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
- Fold in the vegan chocolate chips.
- Grease a 9x13 inch cake pan with vegan margarine.
- Pour the batter into the cake pan and spread evenly.
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Let cool completely before serving.
