Instructions
Making the Dough

- In a separate bowl, cream together the vegan margarine and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the molasses, non-dairy milk, and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
- Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, and stir together until a dough forms.
- Divide the dough into two equal portions, wrap each portion in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least one hour.
Making the Gingerbread House
Once the dough has chilled, you can start building your vegan gingerbread house:- Remove one of the dough portions from the refrigerator and roll it out on a lightly floured surface. Cut out the pieces of your gingerbread house using a knife or a template.
- Carefully transfer the pieces of the gingerbread house to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Repeat steps one and two with the second portion of dough.
- Bake the gingerbread pieces at 350°F (175°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Allow the gingerbread pieces to cool completely before assembling your vegan gingerbread house.
- Once the pieces are cooled, use vegan royal icing to assemble your gingerbread house.

- 1/4 cup vegan margarine
- 2 tablespoons non-dairy milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- In a large bowl, cream together the vegan margarine and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add the non-dairy milk and vanilla extract, and mix until combined.
- Use the vegan royal icing to assemble your vegan gingerbread house.
