Ingredients

  • 1 box of Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes
  • 1 12-ounce bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon of vegetable oil
  • Assorted sprinkles and decorations

Instructions

Begin by unwrapping each of the Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes and placing them in a large bowl. Using a fork, mash the cakes until they resemble a fine crumb. Once all of the cakes are mashed, set aside.

In a medium-sized bowl, add the chocolate chips and vegetable oil. Heat the mixture in the microwave for 30-second intervals, stirring after each time, until the chocolate is completely melted. Once melted, add the mashed Little Debbie cakes and stir until all of the crumbs are evenly coated in chocolate.

Using a tablespoon, scoop out a spoonful of the chocolate-covered cake mixture and gently roll it into a ball. Place the ball onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and repeat with the remaining cake mixture. Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and allow the balls to chill for 30 minutes.

Once the cake balls have chilled, remove the baking sheet from the refrigerator. Dip each cake ball into the melted chocolate and use a spoon to evenly coat the ball. Immediately after dipping each one, add the assorted sprinkles and decorations. Repeat with the remaining cake balls.

Serve the cake balls immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to three days. Enjoy!
